These include site conditions, structural systems, exterior components, roof systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, heating systems, cooling systems, interior components, insulation, ventilation, fireplaces, chimneys and attics. Your service agreement contains the specifics of what is included according to your state's guidelines.
Home inspections generally do not include components that don't affect the functionality of the house. Systems like alarms, intercoms, audio/visual equipment, sprinklers, pools/hot tubs are beyond the scope of the inspection. We will identify any defects or systems that require further evaluation, and suggest the best type of technician to assist you. Absolutely! But it's not required. In either case, we want to educate and inform you as best we can. If you attend, we can discuss the property and answer any potential question you may have in person. All inspections are followed up with a virtual conference or call to review the report.
